Founded in 1945, NBTA is the first and original National and International organization for Baton Twirlers, of Baton Twirlers and by Baton Twirlers. NBTA is dedicated to the world-wide of advancement of Baton Twirling as a beneficial and worthwhile performance sport and physical activity.

NBTA USA "Twirling's Oldest Organization" adjusts to the needs of the times

NBTA USA is designed to lead twirling into the future witha  twofold, comprehensive organizational plan designed to continue the great advancements and traditions of the past while opening the door to new ideas. The program provides dozens of new leadership positions.

Don Sartell, founder of NBTA, said, "we have built the foundation and paved the way for the future, but now is the time for 'new blood' to join dedicated twirling veterans in order to provide twirlers and twirling with a glorious future."
